Or super-popular entry level class in Drawing and Sketching covers the basics of drawing, from the ground up. We'll explore our drawing materials; we'll learn how to set up a drawing and break the world into simple shapes; then move into perspective, drawing people, achieving different styles and textures, and anything else of interest. Each week is a new focus in drawing technique where structure supports imagination. Materials must be purchased from Amazon before start of class and can be used for a very long time. Students will need a desk/workspace free of clutter.

Advanced Drawing and Sketching for those who've completed Sketch & Draw 1, this class continues with new topics but also focuses on student choices and individual projects. This class is repeatable.
Tues & Thurs, 5:30-7:00, Nov 3 – Dec 17 (6 weeks plus)

This class will cover the basics of painting, from color mixing all the way up to creating a masterpiece. We will discuss what paint is made from, color theory, brush techniques, laying out a painting, blending, and anything else of interest, Each week, we will learn a new skill in painting, as well as showing off our work so that we can discuss what we have learned and how we can improve and learn from one another’s work. Students will need a desk/workspace free of clutter. Class includes clean-up time.
Thursdays only, 3:30-5:00pm, Nov 5 – Dec 17 (6 weeks)
Students learn to draft! Drafting is used to create layouts for the theatre, architecture, engineering and more. It is a precise representation of a floor plan, a product design and adheres to rules of accuracy and scale.
